I only bought this recently, so I can't speak much for its durability. However, I've been wearing it all day every day since I got it (I believe about two weeks, maybe three) and it's very comfortable. It was very easy to put onto my watch's face and the leather, though incredibly stiff out of the packaging, softened very quickly. I like my watch straps tight enough that there's no room for the watch to move about on my wrist without being forcibly moved. Wearing this strap like that has lead to some redness but not much else. The only real problem I can find with this strap so far is that I noticed, on the first day of having it, that the tip of the bit that goes through the buckle doesn't seem to be glued down properly, there's a little bit of separation between the layers. That's okay, I imagine I can glue it myself, and it's only a small bit of damage anyway that doesn't at all affect how the strap feels. Overall I'm very, very satisfied. I'll have to see how the strap holds up over years of consistent use, that's my main criteria; if it disappoints me, or exceeds expectations, I'll likely come back to this review to explain further.
